Kidlit 101 is a fast-paced course designed to highlight the entire kidlit writing process, from initial ideas to publication and beyond. No question is too random or silly. Plus, in a series of short lectures, we’ll dive into the intricacies of the marketplace followed by lots of fun, interactive exercises designed to hone your writing skills – specifically how to develop engaging characters, build amazing worlds, and nail down that all-to-often-overlooked ingredient—voice. We’ll end with a frank and practical Q&A regarding topics of interest, including agents, editors, and publishing.
